The new Tokyo Tower?

Hi Everyone. This is Yamato’s manager, Ninomiya writing. Today I will write about Yamato’s two days of concerts (June 11 and 12) which were held at Tokyo’s Kitasenju Theater 1010.

Actually it has been 8 years since we’ve given a concert in Tokyo. We apologize to all of our fans who have been waiting so long for us to return. Before anything else, we’d like to express our gratitude to those fans who waited so long and traveled so far to see us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Although the program was made of selections from our current overseas touring show, I was able to see a new side of Yamato and felt I saw the possibilities of the future. Even though the songs are familiar, depending on the day and the performers, they seem to have a different feeling each time. The younger members are improving their expression and ability and I can see the large amount of progress they have made.

No matter how many times I see GARAKUTA and REKKA performed, they always make me chuckle. Then I notice the audience around me is smiling as well and before I know it, I have become an audience member as well.

And then, Yamato’s enjoyable, powerful, beautiful stage performance is over in an instant.

And to my surprise, the audience is standing up and clapping give a standing ovation.

This is really a surprise to happen in Japan. We are really happy.

If we could fill each person with the spirit of Yamato it makes us very happy.

I hope we’ll come back to Tokyo again.
Thank you very much.
